About SPS

St. Paul's School has been a Place of Love and Learning since 1966. Our school’s mission is to provide a learning experience of high academic standards in a Christian environment, where children can develop their intellectual abilities and their sense of self-worth and responsibility, and where students, parents, and staff form a close, caring community where all support and share in each other’s growth.

St. Paul’s School was founded in 1966 by St. Paul’s Church in Visalia under the leadership of the church’s rector, Bishop Victor Rivera. The school was located at the church for many years and moved to its current location in 1987, where its enrollment and campus have continued to grow. In 1994, the school added seventh and eighth grades.

Major building projects funded by capital campaigns have continued to enhance the campus. Such projects include the Chapel in 1993 and Dwelle Academic Center in 2004. While originally an outreach ministry of St. Paul’s Church, the school is now an independent Christian school in the Anglican tradition.

St. Paul’s has earned accredited acclaim for its unique learning community that strives to meet individual needs and learning styles. St. Paul’s School offers a culture that values both high moral standards and high academic achievement. Our teachers combine expert subject knowledge with the care and compassion necessary to support and nurture the whole child: physically, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. St. Paul’s School alumni continually share with us the difference attending St. Paul’s School made in their lives as they moved on to high school, college, and beyond.

It is the policy of St. Paul's School to admit students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privleges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. St. Paul's School does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, natural and ethnic orgin in administration of employment policies, educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and ethnic and other school-administered programs.
